You might want to open one and take a sniff. I found an old bottle that I also bought during Covid and was surprised when I opened it, it had absolutely no smell to it. I don't know how effective it would still be.

Bleach expires. I had a gallon that was basically just water.

You were in the locked thread. People use bleach to clean. It’s not dangerous. Move on. If you want to buy your cleaning supplies from Goop, go ahead.

But why? How filthy is your home? What exactly are you pouring bleach on?

This isn’t a crisis. Plenty of alternative cleaning products are available.

A lot of those cleaning products have bleach as their active ingredient. Oftentimes they’re just dressed up with fragrances or different properties for specific cleaning applications.

My wife is cleaning up the summer gardening supplies and putting them away for the winter. Some of the molds and fungus that can infect some of the plants that might get spores on the pots and tools should be cleaned with bleach.

There is a shortage and bleach doesn't last too long so be careful using really old stuff.

Yes. It's really only good for six months tops.

Clorox had a cyberattack in July, contributing to the shortage.

There was plenty of bleach on the shelves at my local walmart here in Florida 3 days ago.
