I should restate: "as a first year", not freshman. DC had so many credits going in they are already technically near to being a junior.

But private school enrollment is much smaller. So 4 kids out of 100 per grade at a private school is the equivalent of 20 kids out of 500 per grade at a large public high school.

But if all of Blair’s are from the 100 magnet seniors, it still is better than any private.

because they don't find any of it hard, so far. Sure, things could change, but given that so many of their classmates are already having issues, I'd say DC is "killing it", so far.
