Not the PP to whom you're responding. You can call it gallows humor if you want but it's pretty tasteless and thoughtless, considering that Collins has been increasingly affected by serious health issues including a spinal injury that has forced his retirement from performing. He had to do his last shows sitting down. Still did them, though, apparently despite terrible pain. I'm not particularly a Collins fan yet even I was aware he's in pretty bad shape, so talking about "take him first" isn't especially funny. Yeah, he'll never see it or know. Still crass and tasteless. I suspect Bruce himself would think so too.

The Nats will *not* be playing deep into October. The Orioles may be.

Nats will not be playing into October here at all. Last home game is Sept 24 and they won’t be in the postseason.
