10 for $10 - yes please!
If I'm going fancy then I get those little tagliatelle nests for dry, or I spring for fresh in the cold case. Not gonna get fancy dry in a box unless it's bucatini because I have a weakness for that.

Do I love pasta? Yes I do. Want to make my own!

I like Barilla and buy it when it’s on sale but will usually buy store brand.

I just commented above, but I will also make my own every now and then and I love it! It’s very easy, so give it a go if you’re curious about it.

The Whole Foods organic bronze cut is pretty darn good.

I did not know about Barilla controversy, thanks. That was my preferred brand at Costco.

Rao's has been my go-to in the past couple of months.

De Cecco is our default. If it's made in Italy and uses bronze molds, I'll buy whatever.

Is there actually a taste difference?

There is, but there’s also a texture difference.

Bionaturae --esp for whole wheat. I haven't seen it recently, though.

Yes, there is. I didn’t realize until I stumbled on a better quality of pasta via coupons and never went back.

I also recently realized that it really makes a difference what brand of tinned tomatoes I use as well.

In general I’m a store brand gal for most things, but I definitely believe that when it comes to pasta and tomatoes it’s worth it to pay a little more for better flavor/texture overall quality.

+1 on DeLallo making the best whole wheat pasta, but the Jovial brown rice pasta (gluten free) is way better than wheat pasta. I buy it even though I don’t have gluten issues.

De Cecco by a mile. Wegmans brand is also good.
