One of the arrested seems to be the same as in this case:

It's amazing the destructiveness a relatively small number of people have on this city.

A single digit percentage are responsible for 90% of the violence in DC. DC needs to get its act together and crack down on them.

That’s true almost anywhere. Thanks to the traditional media, social media, and forums like DCUM, crime gets sensationalized, hyperbolized, and blown out of proportion.

We could easily fix this problem by putting the government in charge of the media. We could call it Pravda, the Ministry of Truth, or something like that.

Do they know who did it? MPD probably doesn't, but I bet the victims know exactly who shot them - and won't tell MPD. So, will anyone get arrested? Probably not.

Will this make news as a "mass shooting?" Probably not... because people just don't want to acknowledge a gang violence culture...

Meh.

All cities have problems.

Arrests made, but then one of them escaped, because they only had one female officer watching him, he duped her with the "can you uncuff me, I gotta go to the bathroom" and byeeee...

Still at large.

So apparently, when the shooters and victims know each other, MPD calls it "domestic" - yet in this case what "domestic" probably actually meant was either a drug deal gone bad or one group attempted to rob another group. Probably 80% of the violent crime in DC involves groups that "know each other"

115 lbs of weed and $80K recovered from the scene of this shootout.

Not a Grinder in flagrant delicto caper.

Good thing we legalized weed, so these marijuana-related shootings never happen anymore.

Wasn’t that what the marijuana lobby sold you on?
