I'm 43, 5'4" and 115lbs, and that seems reasonable except the chocolate covered banana, unless it was a special treat and not a daily occurrence. Because that's a lot of sugar and carbs (which are also sugar).
I don't consume butter or oil generally, unless I absolutely cannot cook without a tablespoon of oil in the skillet. I don't add oil in my vinaigrettes for salad, for example. But I do have occasionally treats, when I bake scones or cakes. I notice you eat a lot of snacks. I'm French and the first thing that surprised me when I came to the US was the constant reaching for food. It's rather shocking to me to see mothers or nannies feed snacks to babies at all hours of the day, or travel with food for their elementary kids during the course of their activities. In France, you have 3 meals a day plus afternoon snack, and you don't eat between those times. People who snack all the time, even on healthy food, tend to be heavier, because they're training their body to feel hunger more often. |
