The fact the Thea has multiple pronunciation Ms has always been the problem with the name for me (THEE-a, THAY-a, TAY-a). I'd just pick a different name.

Picture yourself at a noisy pool cheering for your kids on swim team. From a distance can each child tell that you are saying your name? If not names need to be more distinct. I messed this one up.

I think it's kind of unusual for names to actively not go together. And these names do not go together.

This is a good question. Do you already have one and are looking for a name to go with it? If so, let us know and people can share alternatives since I don't think people are loving these two names together.

Seeing this actually leads me to conclude I don't like either of these names that much. Nice meanings, but something about the sounds involved just falls flat to me.
