Sewer gas smell in house

This happened to us too. Our cast iron drain pipe was busted.

We have a bathroom that doesn’t get much use for months. Sometimes the drain dries up and stinks like sewar. We run lots of water in the shower and down the drain. This resolves the problem for months again.
