Narrator: Sad you don't understand the DC AG role in crime. Hint, none, that is a federal prosecutor. |
Having had a leadership role in DC Public Schools, I absolutely believe that we need to get some of these kids away from their chaotic homes. We don't want to be honest that many of our juveniles committing crimes, do not have a chance based on their parents. |
Agree with the sentiment, don't agree with the proposed solution. Boarding school run by DCPS is likely to be prison for kids, as the funding isn't going to be huge. But you need a huge amount per kid. Also, are the kids that need it most going to be cool with being locked up in a boarding school? |
Dear Narrator---the DC AG controls the charging and prosecution of crimes committed by juveniles. Crimes committed by juveniles (which DC defines as up to 22 and Charles Allen etc. up to age 26) is the largest cause of the current DC crime wave. And once those underprosecuted juveniles age out of those protections, then the same crimes that got them a slap on the wrist (if that) now get them sent away for 20 to life. So how are those progressive justice policies REALLY helping young AA males? Not to mention everyone else in the city who is caught in the cross-fire or victimized. |
Whenever anyone tries to actually be honest they get called a racist and get cancelled. |
