All entertaining on audiobook IMO

I second Remarkably Bright Creatures. Really good as an audiobook!

I third it! Lessons in Chemistry - which I think of as pairing with RBC - was also a good audiobook.

I almost never read memoirs but for some reason I downloaded Molly Shannon's to listen to - and I loved it. No gossip, really - but she has a really interesting (and really sad) personal story, and it's really a book about her father, who is a true character, and her own grit and drive, told in a super compelling and listenable way.

I am listening to Know My Name by Chanel Miller. She was assaulted by Brock Turner. Tough subject but the book is amazing.

I often multitask, so I don’t want anything that’s hard to follow (e.g. tons of characters who are easy to confuse is better in writing than audio book format for me).

Recent ones I’ve been glad to hear in audio format are:

1619 project
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow
Rose code

Very different books, but each were great in the audio book format. I’d love additional ideas. Thanks!

The Alice Network - I thought The Rose Code was better but really liked this one as well.

I love Marin Ireland as a narrator, so check her out and see if the book descriptions sound good to you. I’ve listened to dozens of books by her and loved every single one!

Ray Porter is a great male narrator. He did Project Hail Mary and The Terminal List series and then I started choosing other books just because he read them and enjoyed them all.
