I just went abroad for the first time at 30

27. I had gone back to college for another degree, and took out $2000 loan to pay for my trip.

Then I got a good paying job, at 28 and started traveling a lot more.

I love traveling. I"m about to retire in a few years and will travel. I saved and saved to make sure we had the funds to travel a lot when we retire.

Good for you! It's fun to have the world open up to you. Make a bucket list and stick to it.
