I’m from the Palm Springs area and still have family out there. They are expecting a years worth of rain in the next two days. I’m highly concerned about the mud. Some roads are already flooded and cars are already stuck in mud. This is going to be scary for those in the valley of the desert.

Noaa.gov is the website. I like the cones, which are updated at 11am, 2pm and 5pm.
