League is starting soon, any teams playing in it?

Checking the link, it looks like the league is NOT happening. STJ just offering 2 play days in the fall for teams to sign up for and references to the "Elite" league have been pulled from the website.

The two leagues I've heard of are the Woodson league (a lot of the high schools play in it) or the Mclean box league. The Mclean league has high schools playing in it as well as younger ages. I think Woodson is only high schools.

Both of the leagues mentioned above have been around for a while, so it may be hard for St. James to establish a fall league unless they cater only to travel teams. Other than the few local ones: Pride, Stars/MC Elite, BLC, there really aren't that many travel clubs in the DMV.

Why did the St James / MCE league fall apart? No interest from other teams?

The fall pool of teams is small and with McLean and Woodson playing and the travel teams starting up practice I’m surprised if they could find 10 teams to sign up.
For almost a decade our schedule was rec/ hs in the spring, spring travel, august was camps and whatever into Woodson, fall travel and then tripleedge/ st James winter ball. Wasn’t time for another fall league.

Yeah, St. James should focus on the Winter league. The facility is perfect when it's 20 degrees and an inch of snow outside. No need to disrupt anything in the Spring and Fall.

That is nonsense. The fall pool of teams is the same as the spring. This fell apart because no clubs wanted to sign up and drive to DC/VA just to play cruddy MC Elite teams and better but still not top tier Stars teams.
