They are listed as having a wait list.

And even if they did have memberships available, the cost is $1,300 minimum. The OP could find something less expensive if they aren't going to be actually using the membership.

I think there are some swimmers at Fair Oaks Sharks that also dive at the Greenbrier pool.

So our pool has an NVSL swim team but no dive team. We have several people dive at the pool right down the road, that has a wait list. But as the previous poster noted they do not have membership to that pool, they just attend dive practices and events. Your "home pool" would be the pool you joined without the dive team. Does that make sense?

Can you share the name of your pool? Yes I understand i would not have general access to the “dive” pool (that is lower priority for us).

Not the pp.
Here is one in Springfield.

There are Fair Oaks members that dive at Oakton, but are members of Fair Oaks Pool. Fair Oaks does not have a dive team. (I was the pp who was posting about that).

Also, Fair Oaks does not have a waitlist. You can join as a temporary member. However, you have to live within (I believe) a 7 or 8 mile radius of the pool address to join.

I go to Fair Oaks and I never heard that 8 mile thing. Isn't on the website either. Is that new?

NVSL allows a diver to be on a different dive team if their member pool does not have one. You do not become a member of the other team - just a dive team member.

Our team does this with a neighboring pool. They can come to practice, meets, and pep rallies. They cannot come to the pool to just swim.

There are lots of NVSL pools without a waitlist. Just join the one closest to you. Mosby Woods and Fox Mill are the closest to me, but there are many others.
