If you start early enough, you could have four, but space out the first two and the second two. Like, have your first two about 2 years apart. And then wait 4-5 years and have another two kids 2 years apart. My mom is the third of four with her two older sisters 6 and 8 years older than her, and her younger sister 3 years younger. She always talked about it being like her parents had two sets of kids and she was the oldest of the second set. My mom loves being part of a big family and my grandparents love having so many grandkids. But my mom and her younger sister have never been particularly close with their older two sisters.
