What flight search engine do you use?

ITA Software

https://matrix.itasoftware.com/search

Once you use it you will never again want to use any other site*.

*It won't show Southwest, but to my mind that's not a loss

I search on Google and then book directly on airline website

I always do a separate Southwest search for destinations I know are nonstop routes

+1. Just be aware you can’t book directly through it (that’s a good thing!) and you can’t filter out basic economy.

Google flights uses ita software, so it’s the same thing really.

Agree to search on Google but book direct.

We used to spend the time shopping various airlines/flights, but once we got the United CC we've actually saved more money strictly flying them.

How so? I've thought about getting their CC since they have a HUB at IAD. Their prices are always the most expensive on Google flights.

Not the PP, but I'm guessing now because they don't have to pay bag fees or other ancillary fees like economy plus, etc. Plus, consolidate your points to one airline means more free flights.
