A lot of crime happening in Alexandria and now Arlington these days. It's a total shame.

Watch the video. It is an extreme shoot out. I live right by there. I cannot believe so many bullets shot for this and it is a miracle no one else was hit.

There's a lot more crime happening in Maryland, which is where this criminal was from and where he committed his crimes. At least law enforcement is functioning in one jurisdiction around here.

Yes, they have done studies on this. The statistics are staggering, but if you don’t constantly train and in the appropriate conditions the stress of what may be a police officers first shoot out takes over.

Hit rates for the criminal are 10% and for the non-SWAT trained police officer are only 17%.

So unless you are the intended target standing around watching is not in your best interest.
