Says unlimited for RL?


We play in NC and I cannot find anything for our state like the above link. From day 1 (last year) for ENCL-RL league games we were told the out for the half rule and the refs noted each sub and giving over your card was required to enter the field.

The referee instructions for both ENCL and ENCL-RL are the same:

"U13-U18/U19: seven (7) substitutions maximum are allowed per half. Players may not re-enter in the same half."

Not sure about Carolinas ECRL but I do know that each region is a little different so maybe that’s why that rule exists in some parts but not others. Again another reason why standards should be there but they aren’t for whatever reason.

I've seen the backup keeper have to come in and play the field during an ECNL game, because of the no reentry rule. He was the only player left available to go in after another player got injured. He still had his yellow keeper shorts on and a borrowed jersey. Wasn't sure that was allowed, but the ref let it go.
