I joined KGES AAP IV parents session last year and learnt that the cutoff score of CogAT is 142. But of course you could appeal the denial decision later by taking WISC or supplementing other supportive document. |
It's going to be slightly different every year even at the same school. May have been 142 last year but I'd guess this goes a bit lower moving forward. Even the highest SES schools seem to hover around 140 or 141. |
That's just the cutoff to be in pool and automatically considered for AAP. Many kids accepted into AAP did not have high enough scores to be in the pool, but still got in through parent referral. |
