Linkedin, yes, normal, so you can connect with people online.
Resume, iffier. I put my bigh three school on my resume when applying for biglaw jobs in law school, mostly to show that I had ties to DC and would be likelier to want to stay long term. Ninety percent of the people I interviewed with focused on that for much of my interview, quizzing me on whether I liked it, etc, because they were interested in the school for their own children. I only got one offer so did it hurt? Who knows. Probably not as much as my poor grade in Torts hurt. |
