The house from the first link is beautifully updated, unlike this one.


I think we looked at that 2nd house back in 2007- if I'm correct, it hasn't appreciated much at all.

Yes, it really is just so dated for the price and no curb appeal. Also, agree with PPs the location is an issue. You'd want to buy on the other side of Seven Locks if at all possible.

Yes, Beltway noise and pollution has got to be an issue in that location. The other side of Seven Locks seems much quieter.

Hard to see this selling for about $1 million with the location and update issues. Good bones and size, but needs a solid $200K of work.

We looked at houses in this area and it was the 495 issue that turned us off. I think a lot of people worry about living that close to the highway.

If they priced it at 999k to begin with, they would have had a bidding war and probably come out well above $1 million.
