Staying on a low dose of Wegovy

I've heard this too, but I don't know for sure.

I agree that I felt pretty good on Wegovy .25 for a while, but eventually your body gets used to the low dose medication and the weight loss eventually slows down significantly. The beginning was mega loss and then slowwwwww as I got toward the end of the month at the dosing levels, and the hunger reappears. Maybe it's the body getting used to the dosage??? Anyhoo, I stayed on .25 for a month, .50 for 2 months and then will start on 1mg for a month. I agree that insurance is being very sticky about these drugs with titrating up and % of lbs lost.

Maybe it’s time to stop “eating whatever you want,” as OP notes, and expecting to lose weight.

I am on 1 mg and not going any higher. I have lost 35 lb so far and am nearly at goal. No, I do not eat whatever I want, I eat normal healthy foods in sensible portions.
I plan to start going back down to the lowest possible dose probably after I've been on this for a year. My doctor thinks I should wait a year.
