Why is Baenig getting more responsibility?

Anonymous
There is someone on DCUM who hates Baenig and has posted about her in very personal and inappropriate ways in the past - no factual basis included. I am guessing that person is OP.

What stupidity. Some regions with five schools, others with three. And Marshall randomly tossed into a region with schools further west.

FCPS is run by complete morons.

Indeed, I don't understand why regions 4 and 5 were left with such large student populations. Perhaps it's just a first step of many other small changes that will make sense later.

It feels like change for the sake of change in order to make staff feel insecure and more beholden to Reid. Unfortunately the changes do not make any sense.

I hope we have a new School Board soon and that they seriously consider terminating Reid’s contract. She does not seem like she knows what she’s doing.

What’s your job?

High-SES regions support 5 pyramids. Low SES regions have 3… Prioritizing support for the pyramids that need require support. This should not be difficult, people.

It's weird. I would have put Marshall in Region 1 and Herndon in Region 5.

One of the wealthiest pyramids is now in a region with only three pyramids, so even if you buy into your theory that it’s all about “equity” and choosing to pay even less attention to higher SES pyramids they screwed up. And sticking Marshall in Region 5 made no sense.

The current Superintendent and SB could not be more incompetent if they tried.

McLean is in a region with only 3 schools.

They kept McLean in the same region as Falls Church and Justice because they want to move part of McLean to Falls Church in a few years. They haven’t announced this yet but the writing is on the wall.

If Baenig is a good social worker why does she protect and promote illerate idiots like Copleand of Westfield? https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Np4Dvr6JmjCKgrLY4zcB-oiVxfdwAvhIESwSW773W4c/edit?usp=sharing

Maybe slow down and work on your own communication.

I agree 1000%. It's a personal goal of OP to trash this woman for some long ago perceived wrong against them. It's so tired.
