This.

I mean, I'm glad wages went up, but yeah, you can't expect prices to remain the same when they do.

Wrong. Servers are not making $15 an hour. This money didn’t go to wages, it went to the record corporate profits they’re all logging. BILLIONS of dollars transferred into the hands of the wealthy thanks to CoVID while regular people got poorer.

Corporations are reporting record profits. There’s a “wealth pump” taking money from average people and sending it to the ultra-wealthy.

Wealth inequality is destabilizing for our society. This will not end well.

We go to small restaurants not corporate owned where waiters are making $15+ an hourp

Chicken Alfredo 19.49… kids meal 6.99.
So 2 adults and 2 kids would be $54 plus tax and tip. So maybe $70.
Don’t spend money on soda or alcohol.

If you’re on a budget share an entree.
$34 plus tax and tip. They have free salad and breadsticks.

yeah no worth it, the ingredients didn't go up that high something is going on

Inflation has cooled for the 12th month straight. Agree with PPs it's about corporate profits little else. It's fine, we'll eat at home. Screw them.

Who said the kids were young enough to eat off the kids menu. Four $20 entrees is $80 before you even hit tax and tip or a freaking iced tea because you’re out at a restaurant.

Oh, it is the fault of servers who want to make a living wage, not restaurant owners unwilling to make less profit?

You redness is in full display.

Did you like it better when people couldn't feed their own families after a shift of work? just because you deserve walmart pricing?

I mean, spending $10 at Olive Garden is a ripoff.

Prices might normalize if people stop going out in appreciable numbers.
Judging by how mobbed the food court and restaurants were at lunchtime at Montgomery Mall today that’s probably never going to happen.

8 chicken wings now $20. Absurd. We need a good recession to wipe out all of this excess and inflation.

If you don't go, they will lower prices.

Wendy's hasn't raised the price on the 4 for $4. But the nuggets might be getting smaller.

It's not like the workers are getting most of these profits.

Inflation is coming down, but you don't see these big chains lowering their prices yet.

We try to stick to small locally owned restaurants.
