Which perfumes/scents help make you feel...

I found a vintage bottle of Clinique Simply. I hated it when it launched but it now makes me feel all the optimism and promise that everyone seemed to have for me when I was young.

All Clinique fragrances smell cheap, and like the fragrance aisle at Macy's and Kohl's

This is intensely personal, OP, and depends not only on your taste, but also on your skin chemistry, because scent molecules react differently to different skin pHs and chemical composition.

I rotate, depending on mood:
1. Serge Lutens' Filles en Aiguilles (woodsy, great on a rainy day)
2. Dior's Poison (classically flowery)
3. Papillon's Salome (a little out there - not for everyone!)

I used to like Dior Poison until someone told me I smelled like bug spray when I wore it. I like to wear natural scents that make me feel uplifted, kind of like aromatherapy.

Lauren, by Ralph Lauren. My older sister's (the middle child) signature scent from 8th grade through to her 30s. The undertones of Lily of the Valley, my mother's favorite scent, blending with lilac and cyclamen, make me feel like, if only it had been my scent, I could have been the golden child.

Lol, no they are not. Now they’re moving into the “showing their general ignorance of fragrance and still missing the assignment.”

I don’t want to smell younger, what is a “young” smell anyways, like baby powder and poop?

Wealthy / classy. Lots of the Chanels. Especially 31 Rue Cambon.

I love the Bluebell scent too. It has surprising depths. Makes me feel sexy but also fresh at the same time. Hard to explain.

Isn't this the scent that Meghan (Markle) wears?

Narcisco Rodriguez for Her. The original For Her, not the musky or rosy ones.

YSL Mon Paris reminds me of strawberries in a classy way.
