I think I found the ugly capitol of the world, right in McLean! UGH!

Too funny, she could have substituted Chevy Chase, DC for McLean.

Just wondering why all the x-small sizes are always gone? Seems like Costco always orders way more XL's than they can sell.

All of the OP's numbered points make the same point... boring!

I weep for people who judge others based on appearance. What happened to loving your fellow human being? I know, I know, crazy talk on this forum.

Hey - give OP credit for having a photographic memory. It's a gift.

and the one's getting all defensive are probably the nasties who she is referring to. lighten up, OP has balls!

We went to a friend's pool in Vienna....now that is an UGLY scene. I had not seen that many skirted one pieces in a very long time. Made me feel like a super model

Are they this bitter in McLean?

I read the title and thought you were talking about McLean itself, the town of which I find very ugly. The people don't seem any different than the people in any other area suburbs though. Ugly people with bad fashion can live anywhere.

I thought this, too.

Serious question - would you rather see my unsightly cellulite or see me in a skirted swimsuit bottom? I thought the skirted bottom was the lesser of two evils, no? (And please don't tell me to start working out more and firm up - I'm 18wks pregnant.)

17 weeks pregnant here. I think there is a big difference between the skirted one-piece and the swim skirt that usually goes with a tankini. The former is what my grandmother wore and had those cone cups built in. The latter is very cute, pregnant or not.

Me too. And I live in McLean.

When people ask where the center is, I have to confess that I haven't found it....all the streets run in a circle...to nowhere. Oh well. The houses are nice, and the schools are good..and we're close to DC. Guess that's why we're there. <shrug>

oooh, OP posted her totally provocative, original and thoughtful observations anonymously on a web message board known for crazies. Someone give this woman a purple heart!

There are unattractive people everywhere, not just in McLean. OP's observations are ridiculous and petty. I'm sure Alexandria has its share of fuglies.
