Store with good selection of women's petite dresses/pants

Banana republic and their factory store has great pants in petite sizes. I wear their pants to work.

Hobbs London, I order direct from them and have no problem returning. Reiss returns were also easy.

Some Anthropology, they have petite dresses.

All online, don’t even bother with in person.

+1 to Aritzia. I'm 5'3" and LOVE their pants - short option.

(I also like Reformation, but not for everyday pieces -- a date night outfit or occasion dress, though, yes.)

I do almost all my shopping online.

I love this blog and her instagram -- she is always linking great pieces.

Seconding Abercrombie. The pants are awesome, but you should shop online.

The Bethesda and Georgetown locations of Anthropologie carry petite in store.

I shop here (Chico’s) in person. The entire store is for petites. You can also shop online. Multiple stores in Maryland (I have gone to Gambrills store and also the outlet at National Harbor and the outlet over the Bay Bridge in direction of Ocean City).

I am 5’ 3” I also get short things from Macy’s (Pentagon City is best or online)

PP: I always thought the entire store was petite but the website says otherwise. I think the key is when in store every single piece of clothing and outfit also comes in petite. So it is not like you have a small section or anything like that but they do have weird sizes (ask store attendants what your typical size converts to and focus there and try stuff on—it was weird but fun to be a size 1.5 or whatever instead of a 12 as an example).

Thanks everyone! You'd think there would be more in person options for petites since half of US women are petite. I am planning a visit to the outlets so I can try BR, J Crew, Talbots, etc. If I don't find anything, I'll try online. I wish I had the budget for some of the other ideas but I don't.

Don’t underestimate the sales! I don’t pay full price for these brands, ever. Hobbs has an awesome system that will email you when an item on sale comes back in stock in your size. I love that since the risk in waiting for sales is that things aren’t available in certain sizes.

Also I’ve had some luck getting regular size dresses altered in bodice to fit perfectly. The woman at Southern Cleaners in DC (15th and H) just did one for me that she shortened from the middle waistline area to get dress waist to hit exactly where mine does. It looks fabulous.

You might be thinking of Petite Sophisticate, but they're long gone. Like PPs said, other than Ann Taylor/Loft, you pretty much have to shop online.

Petite Sophisticate!! I haven't thought about that store for a long time.

OP here. I can't even afford the sale price. I did find some cute dresses but even on sale, it's way too expensive for me.

What are your favorite pants from Aritzia? I have the Melina but want to branch out.
