? It goes back way farther than that. When you see paintings of Adam and Eve, which parts are covered up? They were naked and they were ashamed.

Do you think the Adam and Eve painting is real life? The person who painted Adam and Eve was the one who was ashamed. I am guessing they were not covered with a leaves really.

That doesn't explain why women's breasts are considered sexual or why ancient China considered women's feet sexual or Orthodox Jews consider married women's hair private.

Except they wear a wig that looks exactly like their real hair.

Can someone explain why this is?

I would love it if men could go without being covered so we could see what they are working with.

They didn't actually, literally exist. But I agree with you that paintings reflect the painter's culture.

What decides what constitutes as private or even sexual? Nature and human psychology? Society and culture?

If you are looking for the original source, check the Bible, there are several verses about human nakedness and the need to cover certain parts.

My 5yo just asked me over the weekend why boys nipples can be out at the pool but girls can't.

My neck is an erogenous zone. If lips (preferably male) enter the zone, it over for me.
