Winter swim?

most swim clubs have stoke mechanics programs that are great at teaching and breaking down the strokes.

Look into machine.

What's the lowest level for machine? Stroke mechanics? Looking for 10 and under...

Also, fish has a stroke school as does machine. I don’t think York still has a stroke school for 10? Personally I recommend Norman to kids who need legal strokes - we started there and I now realize how much it helped my kids.

Oh, and also, you don’t have to be a member of the pool to do another pool’s winter swim.

Don't expect that winter swim practice to teach your kid two strokes. IME, it's just conditioning. You need lessons.
