Haha Tory Burch and Jack Rogers are NOT bougie. |

Raspberries. We never got them as a kid except when my mom bought a flat from a local grower to make jam. They were too expensive in the grocery store.
Also, higher-quality shoes. |
| Air travel at all. Never flew anywhere growing up. |
| I like to spend my hard earned money on local talented artists. Nothing gives me more pleasure than buying art. I also have more time to be an artist myself. I love buying paint supplies and watching YouTube videos of artists and following along. |

Outsource some home maintenance - cleaning, lawn, gardening, Xmas lights, painting, etc.
More trips. More dining out/takeout. Private school for kids. |
If you grew up in Florida (and maybe other parts of the south, I wouldn’t know) they are. They aren’t that expensive but the flex was owning like every color to coordinate with any outfit. |
You may not be wealthy for long. |
Art by local artists is consumption not investment. You would do better to save up for art that will accumulate value. |
| +1 for higher quality shoes. My feet need comfort and quality. |
| I set the thermostat at a reasonably comfortable temperature without guilt. I can't abide by being uncomfortable in my own house. I don't know how my parents live like that. |
I feel seen, PP. |
Too bad you learned little from them |
| Regular massage. Lawn service. Really high quality, local food. Good white t-shirts. |
Does not sound like she is doing it for investment, which is what fine. |
+1 I defiantly bought an orange one last month just because I could. Definitely agree on the housecleaning, lawn service, and traveling (beyond driving to see family) front. |
