New trend of demanding hairless men

Anonymous
My spouse did this recently, shaving everything off, expecting me to like it. He asked what I thought. I told him I liked him the way he was, like a man, not a boy, and, that it was his body, his choice

Complete removal of hair in arms, legs, back, chest, crotch and beards. Do people really like men who look like prepubescent boys? Just another attack on everything that is masculine these days. I can’t imagine anyone being attracted to a smooth Q ball unless you like really effeminate looking guys.

Like them?: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CtP0pMdAYKo/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

I also laugh at this! You’ve been doing it to women for so long!! Hilarious that you object now.

Sounds like you are attacking men who are naturally hairless. Do you think those men aren't masculine??
Exactly. What about Asian men? They typically have far less body hair — you are degrading an entire group of people now with this ridiculous argument. My husband is white and naturally doesn’t have much body hair on his chest, arms, and legs. But he’s not a man, huh?

I appreciate DHs below the belt maintenance.

You’re really oblivious to the physiological affects of testosterone and androgens, aren’t you?

Amazingly stupid person calls another person dumb. Oh the irony.

So do you think naturally hairless men aren't men? What kind of idiocy is this?

Because body hair is directly linked to testosterone production and testosterone has traditionally defined masculinity

so you think women w/ pcos (Which causes facial hair) are masculine?

1. What exactly is your evidence that this is a "new trend"? Some youtube videos that you searched for? You can find youtube videos about anything. That tells you exactly nothing about what is happening in the real world.

2. Agree with everyone that the double standard is funny. Women have been told for decades that their body hair is repulsive. Hopefully you will be more open-minded about women's grooming choices going forward.

Once women started shaving legs, it became feminine. It would take a generation to change that back and re-learn what femininity looks like.

We saw the same thing on a smaller scale with the gendering of short vs long hair.

It doesn't need to all come off, but I have to say to me, less is more. Leg and armpit hair can stay, but I wouldn't miss the rest. I hate chest hair, never understood how that was ever considered attractive.

Now they get to see what they demand of women! Ha. It's not fun.

I like hair on guys, personally. And my dh doesn't mind hair on me either.

Well you can "demand" it all you want but you may find a lack of "supply." Personally I don't groom myself to cater to what women want.

Exactly. My Asian husband would be offended that you think his unhairy genetic makeup makes him less masculine.

Racist much?

Natural hair is fine. Naturally hairless is fine. Bald is fine. I prefer authenticity. I don’t want a guy completely removing hair any more than I want him to use hairpieces.
