When I was a senior in high school, I had a memory book. One of the pages had you fill out what you envisioned your life to be in 10 years (which would have made me 26). I recall writing that I would be a nurse, married, with two kids, and living in Michigan.
My reality at 26 was none of those things. I am 45 now, and my life has gone completely off script. I like my life, but it's nowhere near what I thought it would be. |
