| I'm lazy. I just wait till I do laundry and throw them in a mesh bag with the laundry and line dry but my kid has tons of suits as they swim year round team. |
| I do wash the swimsuit and towel every time, but I know I’m pretty crazy (we don’t reuse a towel, pajamas, etc.). So with that I do 2 loads of laundry every day — 1 whites and 1 darks. We also have multiple suits and towels so this isn’t a concern if we miss a day of laundry. |
| 90% if the time I do wash it yes. Then hang to air dry. The other 10% of the time when I literally have no laundry to do I rinse in sick and hang in the bathroom. |
| Yes, we wash them every time if it’s a public pool. If it’s our own pool, we just let it dry on a rack. |

Wash out in the sink and hang to dry. Wash in machine after 3 or 4 wears.

I have competitive swimmers. We do not wash practice suits or trunks in the washer often at all. If someone got ice cream on a suit, yes. But otherwise they rinse in cool water and hang in either the bathroom or the laundry room on a drying rack. My boys can wear 2-3 suits per day each (one kid has double practices, guards, coaches).
I will run DD's and my suits through a delicate load with woolite on occasion, but even that degrades them. It depends how much sunscreen & sweat are on them. Towels go through a few uses with time to hang on a hook in between. If they're soaked, I wash them. |

My kids have enough swim suits to get through the week. They throw their suit in our washing machine or hamper. Sometimes it ends up on their bathroom floor or tub. They are left in the car or their bag. It is like any other piece of clothing.
I do laundry 2-3x per week. I absolutely would not do laundry daily to wash a swimsuit. |
| Yes, the towels and swim suits go straight into the washing machine for a quick cycle - about 25 minutes with very little detergent. |
| I rinse them daily and hang them in the shower. |
|
I have a drying rack set up in the garage for wet suits and towels. Typically I try to put the towels on the deck though.
And no, I wash suits after maybe 3 wears. |
|
Swim team, or a trip to the pool, where they come home after, they rinse it out and hang it off the deck or over the shower curtain bar.
But if they're at camp and it's been crammed in their backpack mildewing for hours, then yes, I do wash it. |

Swimming in body of water like lake, river or ocean. Yes. They get washed.
A chlorinated pool. No, they get a water rinse and hang to dry. |
|
I hand wash mine in the shower and then hang them in the shower while they are wet and then once they aren't dripping I move them to a drying rack I keep in my bathroom.
Each kid is supposed to do the same. |

I have three kids who live in the pool, there is no way we could wash suits after every wear. We hang them up on command hooks between wears.
One of my teenagers was at a pool four times yesterday wearing four different suits 1) morning swim meet wearing team suit 2) mid day teaching a swim lesson wearing a practice suit. 3) afternoon life guarding shift wearing the life guard uniform suit 4) evening party at a friend’s pool wearing a more hang around the pool suit. |
