Be patient. He won't be here for long. No adult want to live with parents if he/she can help it. Don't clean it, no matter how much it bothers you. Eventually, it WILL bother him.

I know because I run out of plates and cups in the kitchen. They all gradually migrate to his room. So I HAVE to go in and get them.

Buy a dozen extra cheap plates and cups from Amazon or Walmart.

Yes, we are supporting him while he is in college. Good, gas, etc.

Making him do chores is a good idea. I will try that - thanks!
