You're all ridiculous and dramatic. This is a vast improvement over what it used to be. And those insane number of beams are easily removed. House-Hate is a sport on this forum.

PS - it will go fast. For over ask.

Strange comment. How do you know "what it used to be"? Are you referring to what it was in the early 1900s? If that's the standard, then sure I guess it's probably an improvement.

Sure, Jan.

Ooooo burn....good one! So creative. So deep. So thought provoking. Work on your debating skills. I'm fine if you disagree with my opinion, but the "sure Jan" response shows me you literally have no thoughts running around inside that head of yours.

The pics of the previous version are right there for you to see. Strange comment? No, strange that you didn't look at the entire listing.

Well, it might be better than having no taste.

Wow, a 1908 house with zero character. That took work.

Agree with this and pp up thread who thinks ss doesn't garner over a mil has been sleeping for the past 5 years or completely unfamiliar with Maryland real estate.

Sad. Will be interested to see what it sells for. Price definitely seems high.

I don't know how to see what is previously looked like but this reno completely ruined what sounds like a historic home. From the outside it looks like a standard 1980s build and on the inside it looks like someone embraced the HGTV "farmhouse" style to an extreme.

I have no idea about the market in SS or what it will go for. I do love old houses, grew up in one, have always bought them and hate to see this happen. Poor old house.

I completely agree with you, really awful reno. I would not have guessed this was a historic house. But there are plenty of buyers who remain into the HGTV farmhouse style.

Maybe, but wouldn't those buyers just go for a new build?

Outside looks fine. Inside looks ruined.

I love it.

Good god, inside kitchen is absolutely horrendous. Could they have gone any cheaper?

And the mismatch flooring is terrible.

I guess it is all cosmetic but it reminds me that a house can look bland on the outside and horrendous on the inside.

Looks like the beams have been there for awhile as they were there when the current owners bought the house.
