Republicans--what is your dream?

How about we bring back a real education for our kids- challenge everyone at their level instead of teaching to lowest common denominator.

Also stop getting offended at every little thing-get over yourself. I'm not even talking about the obvious ones but something minor where that one person makes a complaint and the entire event is scrapped. That would be a great place to start.

+1
I'd definitely go for that.

Hillary might not be my speed, but Bill Clinton was one of the greatest conservative presidents in our lifetime.

Things that the Democrats have spent the last several decades working to destroy.

Marriage and birth rates go down as women become more educated. How would you like to again make the fundamental unit of society Ward, June, Wally, and Beaver?

I vote left, but agree with this. In the interest of our society, kids need to be educated. But show me a red state that has good education.

Also agree (and not a republican) - which means paying teachers well and funding public schools so we can have a unified education system.

So don't force women to have children that they don't want. Allow free access to birth control.

Have you looked at the trajectory of FCPS lately?

Real education where we ban certain books and whitewash the parts of history we don't want to learn from?

It's not the right that threatens to leave the US and complains about how the US is worse than every other western nation.

Also the whole "Trump is basically KGB" thing has been officially debunked. There's no affinity between the right and Russia. On the contrary, we want to go back to the good old days where the FBI was a storied, respected organization and the CIA assassinated commies overseas.

There’s no affinity between the right and Russia?

July 4, 2018, 8 GOP lawmakers including Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana, Rep. Kay Granger of Texas, plus 5 other GOP Senators spent the day which defines patriotism in the USA in Russia. What message does that send to you?

If you believe the Durham report, then you are not paying attention. Go read the 2020 GOP senate intel cmmittee report in 5 volumes, go read the Mueller report. Your head is in the sand.

Just today, Russia put the following people on their sanctions list:

Attorney General of NY Letitia James
Special Counsel Jack Smith
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger
Capitol Police officer Michael Bryd

Putin is still doing favors in the open for Trump.

The mistake that people make is thinking it's a unique thing that Russia was/is boosting Trump. That's just what nations do. They boost candidates in key elections if they have a preference for that candidate. It doesn't mean that the candidate has any connection to them.

In any case, Republicans aren't interested in emigrating to Russia. It's sort of bizarre, reading dcum, you'd think Republicans were walking around in fur hats and drinking vodka.

American politicans do not accept "help" from foreign countries. At least not until Trump. Remember how much hot water Bill Clinton received after the 1996 election when a Chinese national was found to be a bundler? Money was returned and people went to jail. The arc from that to Trump and "Russia are you listening..." is a pretty steep cliff.

So why does to GOP oppose sustainable energy when it is central to an energy independent country?
Why does the GOP oppose a woman's right to manager her body, thus limiting her opportunity to succeed?
And The US is suppose to be a country free of any national religion. What is special about Judeo-Christian values that a country is "based" on it?
And we have a secure border, you just don't like the current national and international immigration laws. Maybe ask you GOP representatives to actually be a partner in passing an immigration reform bill - something that the Dems have been offering for more than a decade but the GOP refuses.

Yes it is really annoying that Disney put on an event and the Governor tries to cancel the whole company.
