Out of my reach, but so so beautiful, Palisades, DC

What a view! I don’t live in Palisades but plane / train / traffic noise have never bothered me in the many places I’ve lived, after the first couple weeks - needed some getting used to. Barking dogs and partying neighbors are much worse IMO

The Arlington one was also posted here, and everyone talked about how cute it is, but lo and behold, no one is buying it.

Why is this house not selling? Probably because it’s too small. Both the house and the lot. A lot of those arlington homes don’t feel like for adults, but for dolls. Yes it can be cute and lovely, but no one is paying that much for a doll house

I toured that one. It felt really nice inside but yes, small. And one of the two baths was a teeny tiny front hallway bath into which was shoehorned a tiny shower.

Urgggh...not for me, for sure.

I love that house, OP. Surprised how many people dislike it.

I like the house but is it really worth that much?
That is depressing.

The Arlington house is a teardown.

Move to Bethesda and you can have an old house, but bigger and a huge lot. And amazing schools.

Ok real estate agent. It’s nothing special. Next.

I love it too, OP. It feels like a real house. I will never have 3.5 million to spend on a house, though.

I like it but not sure about the price as it's not in my price range. that reading room off the main bedroom in pictures 22-23 is so cute and it looks like there's a little balcony.

I wonder why they didn't show more of the view. I would think you could see the river from the top floor which is probably why it's so high.
