I had a lovely couple’s trip to Paris in February once. Yes, dark and dreary, but vin chaud was lovely and it felt cozy and romantic. Obviously not quite the vibe with a teen as with a boyfriend, but I liked it.

Oh, you should reconsider. Despite the weather, etc., it’s much easier to feel really a part of the city, with fewer tourists. I’ve always enjoyed my fall/winter trips.
