I would have stopped regardless. Hitting a pedestrian will cost you so much more time than stopping and will ruin your life. It really doesn’t matter who was wrong.

Not worth your time, so move on. People in the DMV are huge entitled aholes. I never been around such toxic, nasty, entitled people. Many people in this area just need a good punch in the face to get a dose of reality in terms of their self importance.
