Even without logos it’s IP infringement to do a true 1:1 dupe. |
Right - it's a book. Counterfeit. Soon to be a movie. |
Repladies, but it's hard to get in. |
The fashion industry exists because it’s almost impossible to protect non-logo designs. You can’t do interlocking cs, but a beautiful bag that looks almost exactly like a birkin- that’s fair game |
Almost, but not exact exact (even without logos). You CAN buy the “almost” version at H&M now. As for a true dupe, those are not legally sold in the US. But people do buy them from overseas because they are made. |
I am not into designer much but the superfake culture is real and wild. I've met women who live in 50m dollar apartments chasing down some deep fakes on Canal Street or buying dupes from a local purveyor who does "house parties" with things like a 20k buy in. It's kind of crazy. |
Seems like a dumb idea. Why try to get a replica? Just get a $200 Kate Spade or similar. |
Pay to read the article? No thanks… |
When I heard Cartier stopped authenticating in stores, why worry about real vs. fake? |
Do you support human trafficking, terrorism and child labor? If so, keep buying your counterfeit bags. |
Apparently it need seven changes to not be copyright infringement |
That sounds like BS |
The real bags are also made in China. |
This is nonsense the brands are selling to you. On top of all the other nonsense they're selling you! |
Do you buy gasoline? Do you pay taxes? You do realize the US Government is not clean handed in their actions, there’s a whole lot of things you are buying that are supporting the same. |
