Where? Some APS schools notably stopped implementation due to pushback for now. Hispanic parents in particular criticized the standards based grading. Of course, most all public school districts will adopt this new grading, participation, and homework philosophy to some degree. It’s sweeping the nation by storm. APS will likely customize it based on teacher and parent concerns. |
LOL! Yep! Which means it will be up to each school to determine how they're going to use it. And then they'll share "best practices" so everyone can "customize" further according to how it "best serves the individual school community." Just like how APS rolled out the 1:1 digital device "plan" -- "here they are. play around with them yourselves and share how you find them to be useful. because we don't have a specific plan or thought as to how to use them for maximum educational impact and benefit." |
