How many school uniforms should I buy?

I buy 7 pants and 6 shirts for DS who it tough on the pants. By April he is usually down to 4 that are manageable due to faded/ torn knee areas. This is even with reinforced knee areas. The shirts are usually ok and can be donated back to the PTO uniform sale.

The reinforced knee pants are the best!
