This might be contrary to what others will suggest, but considering the common applications doesn’t open until August so take the next few months to work on better health issues. If you have time, think about your child and where you think they’d be happy in college, since there are some health struggles, look at a school within an hour away and what’s within a 3 hour distance but close to medical professionals. You do the applications so that there will be options. Maybe over the summer, make a weekend trip to visit a few campuses.
If by fall, your student is healthy then build on what you’ve started for them. A lot of applications aren’t due until January so there is time but if you can start for them, there should be at least one rolling acceptance to take the pressure off. |
