| I believe in the case of the anti-Asian remarks at sporting events nothing was done to the students who made them. In that case it was the students who should have been suspended. Instead MCPS convened "meetings" and said they were working on creating more "dialogue." What a crock of |
+1 RJ at play, but only if it's about Asian American hate. You can bet if the N word was used by an Asian or white person, there would've been more severe consequences. |
You apparently did not hear what the Poolesville adult was yelling the whole game at him....a minor. I would react the exact same way he was protecting his own teammates. Unacceptable behavior of a parent to a minor child. If it is that serious the parent should to go to a WWE event and yell whatever he wants to. Unacceptable behavior to provoke a minor to be that angry. The goalie has a passion for the game of lacrosse and wants to have fun while playing it. But unfortunately one parent ruined it for him and his teammates. |
The goalie also engaged in racial slurs or did the goalie just shout curse words? Big difference. |
| The goalie called the poolesville boys redneck f*gg**s. So yeah, I’d say there’s plenty of poor sportsmanship blame to go around here. |

Can't we all just get along?
Any videos? Maybe parents should take videos for all games. That way, no one misbehaves and everything is recorded. Magruder and Damascus - rough crowd. |
Nice. Super classy. |
| No confirmation yet? Did somebody make this up? |
coach is investigating no idea why people aren’t talking probably because we know they don’t care about school shootings. why care about the n word? complete apathy |
Lol… you need some serious help. It’s time to recognize that there is rampant hatred in MoCo. Your response “not all MoCo people!” Grow up and do some actual advocacy. |
This would be an excellent application for RJ. I hear it works wonders. |
| I don’t know any Latino people here, friends, coworkers, or school colleagues, who like Latinx. They have asked me to say Latino/Latina but I admit I forget that on occasion. |
