Ditto. Both those shoes look cheap and cheesy. Personally, I'd go with something like this: http://www.bodenusa.com/en-US/Womens-Shoes/Wedges/AR430/Womens-Strappy-Wedges.html?NavGroupID=134 |
| Thanks for the replies! Its a garden party so I think I might have to switch to wearing flat sandals. |
| Wow. You all have horrible taste in shoes. What about a simple Capri-style sandal from J.Crew. You could even wear Jack Rogers with that dress. |
If you're suggesting Jack Rogers, than you're the one with terrible taste in shoes, honey. How unoriginal and preppy. Yuck! |
|
Thank god you bought the dress in navy!
No to the shoes, both shoes are too chunky and the brown too dark. Braided leather straps don't work at all wtih that dress. Something lighter, both in style and color--more like a camel or taupe. |
Then try these. Not sure what some of these women are thinking...

| Ugh, Jack Rogers?! |
| Ohhhh, so those shoes are called Jack Rogers? Not my style. But I *love* 14:02's suggestion. Really spendy, though. Any ideas for less expensive but similarly simple/nice flat sandals? Not OP but curious about similar recs! |
$215 dollars so that ants can build their hills under your heel and between your toes . . . There's nothing to them. |
14:02 here. Places like DSW and 9 West usually have knock offs, perhaps there? Or try Zappos? You might be right re: price since they're almost double the dress, I should have been paying closer attention, sorry.

The navy dress is cute. That other one (purple?) is a disaster.
I would wear a bright colored sandle, NOT WHITE OR NAVY. Maybe a pair of red slingbacks. Something to sexy up the outfit. |
This is cracking me up. It sounds like something my great-grandma would say. |
