Not going to say it's perfect, but way less entitlement than many other areas. But to buy in boundaries, unless in an apartment, you are talking $800k house minimum. So you have people who are MC to UMC and make enough money to do that.

It does not have the snobbish feel of a private, I can tell you that. I went to a private myself and there is no comparison.
