You can get amazing fried chicken, BBQ, and tacos at gas stations. If you're not open to it and doing a little googling when you visit new areas, you are missing out.

Royal Farms is good, but also look for places that sell "Krispy Krunchy Chicken." It's a specific brand, but licensed to different gas station chains. It's more cajun-spiced than others.

KFC needs to bring back its extra crispy spicy chicken. Putting that out in the fried chicken universe as a wing and a prayer.
