College Recommendations

Anonymous
OP — My daughter has been looking at acceptance rates of colleges via application percentages and is surprised at the very high rate of a lot. In other words, there are options out there beyond the Ivies or other popular schools that everyone is vying for or their parents hoping they do. It does make sense to have a short resume or note about yourself indicating where you are heading in a college search in terms of your interests. Also letting the teacher know as mentioned what you have enjoyed or gained from their classes. Or how you think it will give you a solid base in the subject area to continue in college.
A short summary of your interests, school performance and activities can be helpful in describing you if you need a fuller recommendation for some schools.
