Mortgage servicer is a nightmare. Anything I can do?

There's the Escrow Removal Request Form for PHH. Send it in and keep your fingers crossed. Then just make sure you're keeping on top of those tax and insurance payments.

I don't have anything useful to add, but I wanted to commiserate; I had PHH as my servicer a while back and they were absolutely dreadful. There's a reason they're second to last in JD Power's mortgage servicer satisfaction rankings - https://www.jdpower.com/business/press-releases/2022-us-mortgage-servicer-satisfaction-study

So, so glad that they ended up selling my mortgage.

We've successfully got out of escrow, so much more peace of mind too. Our servicer let us once we hit 20% equity.r
