Fka twigs would be another (dp)

She’s not pop.

She is not defined by your petty categories

Someone who loves Taylor Swift isn’t going to like FKa Twigs. Lol

Great ideas! Also, Sara Bareilles, the Head and the Heart, and I agree with the earlier suggestion of Harry Styles and will add his former bandmate Niall Horan.

My daughter is a Swiftie too. She’s a bit older than yours and most her taste runs more alternative so there’s not much I can recommend.
Strongly recommend Taylor’s albums. All of them.
And also Harry Styles (he has 3)

Possibly Alec Benjamin, Conan Gray and Olivia Rodrigo.

We are talking about a tween. Tweens who love Taylor Swift aren’t FKA Twigs fan base. It has nothing to do with my taste at all. Ass wipe.

+1 to the “taylor’s version”. Currently there are 2, Fearless and Red.
Midnights is the newest (october release) so the most current. Working backwards from there:
Evermore
Folklore **these 2 have a more alternative, stripped down feel. some
of her best lyrically

Lover
Reputation
1989
These 3 are quintessential Pop

Red (taylor’s version)
Speak Now
Fearless (taylor’s version)
Taylor Swift (debut)

These increase in country sound as they get older.

Looks like my daughter has successfully converted me into a Swiftie too.

Taylor Swift has gotten more profane on her recent albums. Sad and unnecessary.

I actually can be very serious. This age group loves “discovering” older music, which Spice Girls are. I’d even add Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani and P!nk. If the child likes TS’s more pop music, then the Spice Girls are right there. They are light and fun, which is a similar vibe to TS. And actually, TS’s eras fit many types of sound. If you want to match Folklore, I’d add Brandi Carlile, Phoebe Bridgers and even Fleetwood Mac to the mix. It depends on which TS sound you’re trying to match. But I’d include Spice Girls without hesitation.
